Inside Perspectives | On-board to York

Photo collection of men and women from a variety of different backgrounds.

As a first-year university student, wouldn’t it be wonderful to peer into the future and have a conversation with your fourth-year, senior self? You could find out what you wish you would have done differently, any decisions you would have approached from a different angle, people you perhaps should have got to know better . . . . The possibilities are endless!

So we constructed the next best thing for you: We approached upper-year students from various backgrounds — ranging from a third-year student in Human Equity Studies to a fifth-year Psychology major to master’s-level students pursuing business, science and law degrees — and asked them to reflect on their first year at York with the benefit of hindsight.

The result was a collection of thoughtful insights from a broad range of perspectives. Check it out for yourself; you’ll be sure to find something of value to you!
